Copyright and takedown policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Megaphone Shop LLC ("we", "us") operates Sutorichat. We respect the rights of creators and expect everyone who publishes here to do the same. This page explains how we handle copyright, in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512).
What you can publish
You may upload a video, cover or text only if you made it or hold the rights to publish it. That includes video, images, music, scripts and stories adapted from other works. Content taken from other apps, streaming services, studios or creators without permission is not allowed, whether or not it was made with AI.
When you create a show you confirm that it is your own work or that you hold the rights to it. We may remove content we cannot confirm.
Report copyright infringement
If you are a rights holder, or authorized to act for one, and you believe something on Sutorichat infringes your copyright, send us a notice using the copyright notice form. You can also email support@sutorichat.app. A complete notice includes:
- Your name, address, email and phone number, and your electronic or physical signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work, with a link to the original where possible.
- The links on Sutorichat to the content you say infringes.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
Knowingly sending a false notice can make you liable for damages. If you are not sure the use is infringing, consider asking a lawyer first.
What we do with a notice
We review each notice. When it is complete and the content appears to infringe, we remove or disable access to it promptly, tell the uploader, and record a copyright strike against their account. If a notice is incomplete or does not apply, we may ask for more information or decline it.
Counter notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to publish it, you can file a counter notice using the reference number from the removal message. It must state, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the content was removed by mistake or misidentification, and that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address and will accept service from the person who filed the notice.
We pass your counter notice to the person who filed the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the content in 10 to 14 business days.
Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. Each removal for infringement is one strike. At 3 active strikes the account can no longer create, upload to or publish shows. A strike is reversed if a counter notice succeeds.
Designated agent
Our designated agent for notices under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(2) is:
