Fruit Love Island: where to watch it now.

Three million followers in nine days, 300 million views, then removed episodes and a sudden stop. Here is what happened and where to watch it.

For two weeks in March 2026, the most talked-about dating show on the internet starred a strawberry. Fruit Love Island was an AI-generated parody of Love Island, made by one anonymous creator, and it pulled more than 300 million views before it disappeared almost as fast as it arrived.

What Fruit Love Island was

An AI microdrama: a serialized story told in short vertical episodes, with the visuals, voices and scripts made using generative AI. The contestants were anthropomorphized fruit in a villa that parodied Love Island, complete with recouplings and a multi-part Casa Amor special. Episodes ran two to four minutes, and viewers voted on contestants through Google Forms, which is part of why people kept coming back.

The numbers

  • Launched: March 13, 2026, on TikTok and YouTube.
  • Episodes: 28, across two seasons.
  • Followers: over 3 million in nine days.
  • Views: more than 300 million in total, with episodes averaging over 10 million.
  • Stopped: March 28, 2026.

What happened to it

Toward the end of the run, TikTok began removing episodes. The creator said the show would continue on YouTube, but instead production halted on March 28, 2026, after the creator posted a series of rants on their TikTok story. The plan to move it to YouTube did not last, which left a series with hundreds of millions of views and no complete home.

What people thought

It split people. Critics held it up as the perfect example of “AI slop”, and Love Island USA season 7 winner Amaya Espinal said she would never watch it. Season 6 contestants JaNa Craig and Kaylor Martin appeared supportive, and Joe Jonas and Zara Larsson both showed interest (Larsson's post was deleted after backlash). Whatever you think of it, it proved how many people will binge a story told in two-minute vertical episodes.

Where to watch it now

  • TikTok, @ai.cinema021: the original account. Start here, and expect gaps where episodes were removed.
  • Reuploads:fans reposted episodes widely. They are unofficial, can vanish at any time, and several websites now use the show's name; check before assuming one is run by the creator.
  • Avoid “full series” download sites. They carry the same risks as shady anime sites. See are free anime sites safe?

What to watch next

If what hooked you was the format, a whole story in two-minute episodes that each end on a twist, that format has a name: short dramas. They are vertical series built to binge on a phone, and on Sutorichat every episode is free to watch, in order, with the next one a swipe away.
